Regions
In 2001, the NCSCA Board voted to add representatives from the six regions of the state to the Board. NCSCA established these new positions to increase communication with members, to encourage more member participation, and to increase membership. We were asked to gather information about the needs and activities of school counselors in our regions and assist in sending legislative alerts to our members. In 2004, the NCSCA Board removed the regional representatives from board members to members of the membership chairperson's committee.
