Responsive services are designed to address the immediate needs and concerns of students where the needs/concerns interfere with their academic, career, and personal/social development. Responsive services    are implemented via individual counseling, small group counseling, or crisis response and are available to all students.


 

We’re deeply saddened by today’s senseless school shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School. Our thoughts are with all those affected.

 NCSCA Responds to "13 Reasons Why"  

“13 Reasons Why”, the Netflix mini-series based on a novel by Jay Asher has garnered much discussion and concern from teens, parents and school counselors.  As the popularity in this mini-series rises we want to provide you with resources to use when working with students and parents who have watched the mini-series or who have heard about it.The links below lead you to resources for you to use when working with students and to give to parents.  Please share these resources with your colleagues and administration.
